Thank you for the kick ass board, Alan/Salted Surfcraft!
No, I didn't take the pictures. Our grass doesn't look like that and it never will. Now, if you ever see a picture of a board on half dead grass, that will be your clue that I was the photographer.

Looks pretty smart.
classic board!
Here Piggy...Piggy! Beautiful board surfsista. You got ta take a pic of you wit the whole quiver displayed for all of us to drool over. ;-)
What I got the most from this blog post..sitting at my desk at work laughing..of course the obvious what a beauty on the lush green lawn..but also, that YOU must have better skills surfing than a green thumb..But also reminded me of the other day when I took 2 days off to surf and I came home and looked at my house and thought how much I am neglecting my domestic goddess role for my upcoming wave riding goddess role.. LOL..what I am saying ..moral story..surfing is more imporant than lawn care and house work. ;-)!
The inside of our house looks about as good as our half dead grass. I don't make all of that mess and I'm not going to be responsible for cleaning all of it up. That's a never-ending battle that no woman (or man) can win. So I make sure it's not filty—as messy is just fine with me, but dirty is not—and do my thing. Besides, I wash all the clothes, do all of the grocery shopping, handle all of the homework help, act as the chief financial officer and HNIC (when no one else wants to be the latter). At least with surfing, I can just surf. No multi-tasking is required. When I'm home, I multi-task my ass off. Screw the lawn. Screw the immaculately clean house. Screw the cooking of every meal. A woman can only do so much in one day, right? "I'm going surfing" has become my mantra in this house. And that's not going to change for a very long time!
Amen ! !
Amen!
And look forward to seeing your new board!
Aloha, Cher and Steve
Yowza, that is fine. All colorwork by your friend Alan -- nice. What's the stringer? Did you guys go back and forth, or did you set him loose after uttering "PIG."
There was definite back and forth. I'd like to think this was a true meeting of the minds. But it was Alan who really brought it all together. One of our friends once described him as the most stoked person he'd ever met. I'd say that's a wonderful description of Alan. His stoke shows in the boards he shapes. But this one? I'm still speechless!
