Surfing Hullow Days
As the picture shows, our recent swell is now just about gone. I got, I think, four days of it.
I look forward to the warmer waters of summer. I continue to wax poetic about my winter custom wetsuit. Nevertheless, I'm ready to get into my spring/summer custom fullsuit—you know, the light blue one with the god awful pink and yellow accents. That's going to turn some heads! That's not why I got it, of course. I'm simply tired of black—not black people, but black wetsuits.
Now I'm trying to decide what to do for my next winter fullsuit. I wanted to put a Japanese rising sun on the torso of the suit, but that's proven to be a bit much for a wetsuit. So, I'm forced to figure out how I want my next fullsuit to look. Don't say "polka dots". It's already been done. By Worm.
Pray for more swell.
And, by the way, did anyone else get left behind after the Rapture or am I writing this to an audience of one—myself? (I knew they wouldn't take me up there!)

I can't agree more on the colored custom wetsuits. Do you actually make them? (I'm a new follower so maybe I missed important infos you posted in the past). Brands used to put more colors on some of their wetsuits. O'Neill specially had a website where you could "build" your own wetsuit with the colors you like. I wish I had the money to order one. I like the dark colors which keep me warm during the winter but for the summer, I'm ready to play peacock (not "peakook"!!!) in the line-up. One reason being that my husband can spot me quickly and take good pictures ;)
Still here :)
Tiger stripes!
I get Reunion wetsuits. You can get a look at them here: http://www.intermission-info.com/reunion/
You can actually make up whatever designs you want. My summer fullsuit will certainly have me looking like a peacock and maybe even a peakook. I don't care. Life's too short to keep wearing the boring off-the-rack wetsuits.
One day I want to be a peacock too!..but I will wait till I become a bit better at surfing and it is not my lack of surfing skills that draws the attention. =)...I think currently it is. hahaha! Seriously though.. I think my pink and purple stick gets me noticed enough for now ;-)
Jesus came back, saw the crowds of surfers, and turned right back around. But I'm like, whatever. Local shapers are better.
beetlejuice sandworm of course, but instead of b&w, go with neon green and pink.
crap- being in santa cruz i thought i had gone to heaven- then i tried to go surfing in trunks.....
