If I can't surf it, I don't want it. I'm not into surfboards hanging on the wall. And if I had $8000 to play with, I wouldn't buy an $8000 surfboard. With that said, it is a beautiful board. I think it's abalone. There was another one there too. I didn't find out how much that one was and it wasn't as artistic as this board.

I think the real question is whether you could surf that board? Does it even surf? It looks like it's overlaid with all sorts of impractical material.
I tend to be a person who likes form and function to be in harmony, so even if I had a billion dollars, I'm not sure I'd spend $8000 on this board.
It's a super shape, though.
