The Surfing family is one of the Best Bonds there is! I love my surf family also.. which includes you M.. even though we have yet to surf together.. You have given me so much inspiration and advice that is priceless. Not to mention a much needed wet-suit that got my butt in the ocean last winter. If not for you..my skills(which are a work in progress still) would not be where they are today.
M, I include you as part of my internet crew. Actually, we all have more than one crew. There's the normal crew of people with whom we surf. But then there are often other crews (like the people I surf with in the South Bay, the other LA/OC mat riders, my surf friends I've met through the internet) that many of us belong to as well.
When will we ever have a chance to surf with each other, chica?
I always post when I am surfing on FB... usually the night before.. So if anyone ever wants to join me..hint hint.. they can! My schedule is not normal. Like now I am working an 8 day work week. I do have a surf date,on my next day off, with my friend and first surf instructor Natalie this next Sat. We have not surfed together except one other time since she first took me out. She is taking me to a spot I have not surfed yet..BUT I think I am ready too ;-)
Dammit!! I'm working on Saturday.
8 day work week? You need a vacation. And a raise!
