I think it is safe to say that our governments are in breach of their constitution on a daily basis.

Think that belongs in a Christmas Cracker (perhaps fortune cookie actually) in modern USA.

I have been with the fundamental zeitgeist message of the occupy movement all along but was concerned that the messengers might misbehave and discredit the message. However, I was truely moved by the behavior of U of C Davis students .. in the face of their rights being violated they walked the walk and maintained peace and respect. I watched the youtubes carefully. I was particulary impressed when they '.. gave the police a 'moment of peace to leave' and when they remained silent as the chancler left her office. I hope all of us can follow this perfect example of democracy in action. Perhaps its time to get off my butt and be a citizen. Thanks for the nudge.

now that its estimated to be costing the tax payer approx 57k a day in the city san diego, i think that this is getting ridiculous. with no apparent, real agenda, money that should be going to serve the people, is now going directly to the "man." its time for these people to clean up after themselves and support their cause themselves. i hate the T Party movement but at least they can say they havent cost the taxpayer, me and you, any money, they've cleaned up after themselves, fed themselves and have disrupted the lives of those that work hard to support themselves and their families.

the old saying "grow up" comes to mind.

Awww, a little hippie-bashing always does a body good, doesn't it? Well, come out to New York and see the working people, the unions, the grannies, and the disgruntled Wall St workers if you prefer a different smell.

Perhaps you would prefer the $7.7 Trillion paid by the fed to bail out major banks? Many of the same banks that are now making astronomical sums? Is tolerating that what it means to "grow up"?

"Throughout the financial crisis, Congress remained blissfully unaware that trillions of dollars were being committed by the Fed with the implicit guarantee of the U.S. taxpayer."

There's always somebody frowning from the sidelines, or perhaps sitting on the couch, remote in hand. They can always be counted on to complain, but never to stand up and fight.
