Yeah. A skater I met at the dog park a few months ago hipped me to the chain thing. Luckily, you can't quite see the ramp from the alley and we're going to cover the chain link fence through which you can kind of spot it. If you want to gain access through the other side, you'd have to go into the neighbor's backyard. That's unlikely to happen. But, yeah, I am going to get a chain.
Not even. The neighbors all came over to say it wasn't as loud as they thought it would be.
Okay, that's a joke. That thing is seriously loud. Seriously. But I told the neighbor right next to us that she needn't worry about any 6 am or 10 pm sessions. I plan to use it mainly in the middle of the day.
Ha ha!!! That's the question, isn't it? The part-time job I'd had for the last couple of years (which was done at home) dried up last year. I just found another job. It's part-time, but out of the house. As you can probably tell, I'm usually at home when I'm not surfing.
Wait a minute. This is missing a little more transition and about a foot of vert. Where is the rest of it?
I am extremely impressed! Just look at what you have accomplished here. Your backyard has your own private piece of freedom that was built in less than 3 days. It is Feb 2nd and you have already had three sessions. Big ups and fist pumps! You forever rule.
Now that you are skating, I have plenty of insane places to take you if you ever get up to the Bay Area.

EPIC!!!!
I'm soooo jealous right now. But happy for you. Now you need a boom box and some beer.
Is that for you or your kid?
Let me put it this way: the kid has no interest in skating, skateboards or falling down. Whose ramp do you think it is?
But as I said, it's open to all of my friends who are over 40. Seriously. This ain't for the kids. This is for the grownups (who are big kids).
we'll need some footage shot from the telephone pole!
STOKED!!!
Shred Sister!
You better get a chain too. I bet kids will be hopping the fence to skate it while you're gone.

...looking fine gal
-sometimes the rolling of the skates on the ramp make for some problems with the neighbors

Mmmm, minirammp.
Do you work?

Will work for skate.
