Are you kidding me? Does it get any kookier than this? These guys drove to the beach with the boards once again hanging out of the car like this. Once there, they put their wetsuits on the fins. You know I hate the word "kook," but damn if it doesn't apply in this case! WTF?(Go ahead and click on the picture so you can see this idiocy in all its glory!!!!!)

Longboards should not be made with leash plugs. People would either learn how to surf properly or they'd quit. Hopefully the latter.
aww, people should quit surfing because they don't know how to "properly"? That's pretty elitist.
I've got multiple dings on my boards from donkeys who couldn't control their sticks and just bailed them at the end of waves or tanked on take-offs they had no business attempting. No leash = better board handling skills = fewer collisions with other surfers.
That's not elitism. That's common sense.

But I agree with Goodtimegirl - properly is all in the definition. None of this stuff is 'common sense' - it's just that after a while you take it for granted. But we all have to learn it somehow - you did and they will.
Ha.. I am soooo new to the surfing community..and even I know better than this!
