I left the board outside so I could stip off the wax. The dog's leash was attached to the fin. I was dumb enough to think the dog would stay on the grass and went inside for a second. This is what I found when I came back: a dog with surf wax on his butt.
i heard leaving them in the sun like that is actually quite bad for a board and will over time cause it to de-lam. when i dewax, i just use a blowdrier, napkins, rubbing alcohol(for getting the glass smooth and free of wax residue and salt residue)and of course an awsome boardcomb. but everyone has thier methods!
I don't leave the board out for long. After about five minutes, I scrape the wax off. I prefer to let the sun help me get the wax off. The other methods are too labor-intensive.

It's about time you took off that dirty wax!
Just curious, how did you get it off?
