Under Quarantine?

Apparently so. Whenever a case of swine flu is detected and confirmed, quarantine is inevitable.

I've got an extreme case of swine flu.

There is already one pig in my quiver, right? Well, I now find myself faced with the reality of owning two more. One of them is awaiting glassing. The other, which I hadn't been looking for or even thinking about, was one I lucked into. The best thing of all is that not one of them is like the other. The term "variations on a theme" comes to mind when I think about the soon-to-be three oinkers in my quiver.

This house will be under quarantine until further notice!! (I will post pictures once all of the pigs are here with their rightful owner!)

No, dear. A good friend who is a kick ass shaper is making me a pig. That was the one I ordered awhile back and am waiting for. The flex pig was the one I lucked into. Picked it up yesterday. It's now sitting in our living room. The thing is heavy too! I hope to surf it soon! I'm sorry to hear your back is messing with you again and still. Once you're better, let's plan for a pig day where we bring all of ours to the beach and just surf all of them!

You should name them "Babe" and "Wilbur" (as in Charlotte's Web!) :-) Maybe 'Piglet" for the smallest of the trio?

Gee, it's too bad you won't be able to go to work while you've been quarantined.... ;-)

Ha ha!! That's fine. This place is so damn dysfunctional that I'm about to bounce anyway. I'm way too old to put up with all of this stupid shit. When I was younger, I had more tolerance for workplace foolishness. But now I'm middle aged, having seen and dealt with enough of that in my lifetime. And it's taking quality time away from my kid since they lied to me about the amount of overtime (and I'm not paid for any of it). Worst place I've ever worked. Hands down! Fashion is not a place for the sane, the civilized, the professional, etc. I will let the inmates continue to run the asylum, but I, in the meantime, will sign myself out of that place.

Pabs!! I'm not sick with anything physical. This swine flu is a state of mind, a state of a mind occupied by thoughts of surfboards with narrow snouts and wide hip. Pig-shaped boards. Swine flu. Get it? Thanks for the love though. You're not the first who was worried!
